Library events

16101018Each term an event or activity is held by the library to promote literacy and books.

Two activities have been organised for the month of June. For students in Years K – 2 we have a drawing activity to celebrate the Oliver Jeffers picture book, ‘The Day the Crayons Quit’, and for the older children there will be a reading challenge – keeping a daily log of the minutes spent reading with the theme ‘Read More in June’.

It is hoped that these activities will encourage children to enjoy reading, keep reading and read more. Information, including paper for drawing and reading logs, will be available to the children next week.

If you have any questions please speak to Jenny Leake in the office or myself. Thank you once again for your support.
